Gonna report on my new combat thoughts. I found the abilities that you put in your action bars. :P I told my brother which one I was going to use and he laughed at me. :P It's an ultimate ability that you need full adrenaline bar for. (adrenaline bar/power bar/energy bar etc.)
It makes your auto attacks do more damage for 20 minutes as long as you don't use another ability. XD That's what the description said. You know what it really does? :D Removes your adrenaline bar and automates your abilites! :D So I was fighting with a dagger and axe cause you can dual wield now and every few seconds I'd do something cool like a double big overhead slash or a spin and things like that for more damage or put a DOT on the monsters. :D
So yeah that's actually pretty cool. :P
Only a couple days ago I mentioned how horrible it was to melee the Aberrant Specters because I was missing 10 times in a row constantly and how the wiki said they were weak to ranged. I went back with two pistol crossbows and was hitting 10+ times in a row and went through the rest of my slayer task really fast.
I've kinda figured out what stats are actually important when it comes to what you plan on fighting. I bet I could go back and change what I wore against the specters and do much better meleeing them although it still wouldn't be as good as ranged. I fought bloodvelds this morning and they are magic based too and it wasn't as bad meleeing them and they are also listed as weak to ranged. That gave me hope. :)
Still there's lame things about the update. Everything you fight seems to give a LOT less xp. My brother has been complaining about it quite a bit. AND the economy is all different now. I have no idea what I can do to make gold. The prices of everything are plummeting because I think tons of people quit and when I check the site there's always a lot less people on. I joked with my brother there's more gold sellers and bots playing than actual players... uhh... that might possibly actually be true at the moment. >_>
For instance there's always a train of never ending bots gathering pure essence. On Monday the cost was 107 each. Last night when I checked it was 87 and dropping. So no one is buying that anymore, but the stupid bots keep truckin' away. I wonder how much dragon bones are. I'm gonna have to look. That was another highly farmed item by gold selling companies.
Oh haha! Speaking of my brother we were both on yesterday evening and he pmed me and said, "Got a free spin ticket from farming. Won a million gold." O_o He really did too. I was like omg you lucky McNugget! He needs money... just gotta convince him to use the money on helpful things like upgrading his level 50 & 60 defence equipment (he's level 93 def) and not just collectibles to put in his house lol. And that's of course what he ran to do. :P He went to the Grand Exchange and bought some he didn't have. XD
