I recently stumbled across Eclipse Phase, and the idea of a transhuman space-faring RPG really intrigued me. Has anyone else had experience running it? I haven't seen much about it online other than on their official forums.
I'm told that it's incredibly complicated, and takes a lot of setup time. There are a lot of people who like it, but you might want to read it for worldbuilding ideas and then run it using something else.
I'd personally rather try Mindjammer, although I'd probably use the book for worldbuilding reference and then run a simplified game using Fate Accelerated.
Thanks for the advice, jewelfox! Looking over the rulebook I have, Eclipse Phase does seem pretty complicated, and my groups tend to play it fast and loose ha ha. I've had a lot of fun running FATE in the past, so that might be the best way to go.
