We've just bought a wii u (child's birthday) along with Nintendoland and Lego City. Child is disappointed because the game we bought it for is only on the 3DS (Luigi's Haunted Mansion? I guess it MIGHT be on the wii u later? Or not?) and lolariously enough, the game I wanted (The new Animal Crossing) is not either. Hooray for researching those big purchases, team. /o\

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has any recs for wii or wii u games I might like? I am very much a beginner and like good stories, beautiful art, funny things and weirdness, puzzles.

Games I have liked/am enjoying:

-Glitch (so cute & funny!) - online
-The Cave (LOVED this one.) - Xbox
-Mini Ninjas (adorable!) -Xbox
-Keflings games (addictive) - Xbox
-Kingdom of Loathing (weird funny) - online
-Quidditch World Cup - ps2
-Harry Potter Lego - Xbox

Classics I loved: any kind of Tetris/Dr Mario, Rogue Squadron.

Platformers tend to stress me out but I'm trying to be less of a baby, so maybe ones meant for kids. I am shit at jumping, okay. //hopeful face//

Me too! I'm absolutely wretched with platformers. x.x I actually punched my keyboard trying to do some platforming while playing Maple Story a while back. Yeah, can't say that was the smartest thing to do.

Alas, I do not have a Wii U but would like to get one eventually! I haven't so much kept up on their game selection unfortunately.
