Please tell us a bit about yourself and how you got into gaming, a bit about yourself, what your favourite games are. Let's get comfortable and get to know each other!
Civilisation 1 and 2, Sims, Various Total Warfare, Europa Universalis (pretty, pretty game) (Note the above are all *old*, there are disadvantages to always using a laptop)
Bejewelled, Popcap games, Big Fish games, flash games. Reach for the Stars, Bards Tale (both C64 games) Clouds of Xeen (DOS)
Dungeons and Dragons 3.0, 3.5, White Wolf games (esp. V:tM although I think I may have outgrown it now). Paranoia. Cyberpunk 2020
Do you like the original Bejwelled over any of the newer ones, or is 2 or Twist better? I think my favourite is probably the original, although 2 was fun with the hypercubes...
Welcome to the group!
I've heard great things about both Chez Geek and Munchkin, but I have never gotten around to playing them. I think I even own some Chez Geek cards...
I like them all, but I will always have a soft spot for the original, which kept me absorbed for hours and hours at the same time as I was getting to know the man who is now my spouse.
I like chez geek and munchkin both, but they both take a long time and at least four people to really be good. And they need a lot of counters too, about 20 per person. Citadels *looks* complicated but once you've played the first round, it's easy. It doesn't take too long.
