Glitch, a very enjoyable MMORPG, has just re-opened the invite process, which had been closed for a while due to changes. It's still in Beta, so further changes might follow, but it's perfectly playable and really a lot of fun. The environment is rather good, too, when it comes to things like sexism.

The game has a sandbox-like world. While there are quests, those usually only serve to introduce you to new aspects of gameplay and skill use. You can craft, explore the world, play mini-games, decorate and cultivate your house and backyards, squeeze chickens, build a store to sell things you harvested or made to other players, collect collectible items...

Right now, I have three invites, and it seems that existing players might get more when theirs are used up. If you're interested, leave a comment with your email address (or send a private message if you prefer).

(I do not receive any benefits whatsoever from posting this or inviting people, other than filling the world with new players.)

One of the things I really like is that you don't have to choose a gender and it's possible to create characters whose gender presentation is androgynous or a mixture of stereotypically male and female markers. I'm cis and fairly femme offline, but it's still nice playing a game where I'm not forced into a narrow Male/Female box.

Never mind, I see that it is. Do you still have an invite? I won't get to try it until next week, but it sounds like a lot of fun!

Oh, I would like an invite code if you can spare one! Thank you!

Ooh, perhaps I should get back into Glitch. Was quite entertaining and I'd be interested in seeing the changes!

Ooooooooh. I've been gone a good few months, so um, yes.

Going to try against all sense! (It's late, and things...)
