I was fighting bears for a low level Slayer assignment to skill my low Range up around a nice mining pit and there were two bots doing the typical iron mining.
After I finished I decided to pick up some ore hehe.
Here I am next to one of the dudes. He's level 110 out of 138. :P Running from the bank to the ore and picking up a full load of 28 iron ore, teleporting back near the bank, getting there and depositing it took me about 100 seconds haha. I got 500 ore in hardly any time and never had to pause waiting for him to drop some! But I'm starting to fall asleep so I had to stop.
Bots are totally useful at times. :P
Oh and iron ore has skyrocketed in the past week. It was around 120-125 each and the price had increased to 170 when I last looked yesterday. :P So I got about 85,000 gp worth doing this! HAHAHA!
Actually you know what? I think I'm going to get a second cup of coffee and try to keep going. :P (no I haven't been up all night, I wake up earlier than most people and I dunno why I'm sleepy.)

And yes, you got me interested in Runescape with all your posts, dang you! :~D I had a really old account that I'd barely used that I'm back on now, but I'm not sure how long my interest will last. It's a bit annoying with all the member stuff even on non-member worlds, but I suppose that's how they make money. I find that it takes a long time to level up on the combat system (and runes take up so much space, percentage wise, its not even funny) but I'll stick around for the giant combat update, probably. (It helps that I won't be able to play much during July, too).

And what chat do you mean? Just people out talking around you?
The lamest thing I've seen so far is that 200 million counter. I can't imagine how many of those accounts were bots. I keep seeing bots I've reported or ones with names like 22kjctrf get level 99 in something. It's epic fail. I think they act like they care but really don't because they are subscribers. Plus a lot of them keep prices down or can be taken advantage of like I did this morning.
Have you ever looked at the hi-scores? The top guy is someone with the name S U O MI or something. He had over 5 billion xp. Then I looked one day and he had been removed from it. The next day he was back with 2 billion less. I figure Jagex banned him for botting and he begged them to let him come back and that was his penalty.
I've joked to a lot of people that they should remove the fist off the strength cape and put a cow on it hehe.
And yeah, they added random events to try and mess up bots. I don't know how effective it is.
Oops I'm preaching/rambling hehe. Well I hope you've at least had a little fun with it. :)
