Mkay, my icon is Ms. Liberty from City of Heroes. :) I referred to her as "Paragon's Sweetheart" because it always amused me when I would go to her to train with a character and she would say for example, "You're doing great, Tartar Sauce! Keep it up!" She was one of my favorite signature characters for other reasons too.
Anyway, here's a picture of the ol' fish monster! TARTAR SAUCE! You better like it too because... let's just say I didn't have a screenshot of him anywhere and I hadn't updated the game since like March. >_>

I don't actually role play, but I insisted to everyone he hated humans and was a result of the horrible Japanese nuclear plant accident. (if that's in bad taste no one has told me so far sorry) Of course he was a villain. :P
Pfft.. he doesn't bother punching people. He was radiation attack with psionic secondary attacks from the mutations. :P Oh and uhm... he flew... instead of swim... for some unexplained reason haha.

Yes. Yes that is my character. The ringmaster hat + short red hair is my Thing, as is dragon boots.

It was called, "Who Will Die?" and one of the major npcs was going to die at some point in it.
3 missions per part and the storyline was awesome (I thought.) Same story but different if you did it hero or villain (did both of course.) Annnnd I think it was after part 4? THEY TOTALLY GAVE AWAY WHO WOULD DIE BEFORE they even released that part! A link to the article was on the damn game launcher (which I didn't read.) I'm pretty sure I removed myself from all my chat channels, but it wasn't but like 2 days later I heard who it was from people talking about it while I was out and about. I cannot fathom why they did that. :(
Oh and they said they were actually removing him from the game and I think the missions involving him but I left before that.
err sorry that was a bit of a rant haha.
But hover is an ability I would take at level 6 the characters who I also planned to take flying with. Flying is used to get from place to place in the zones. Hover you use in missions because it's be easy to control movement. Flying less so. And hovering gave you a slight defense bonus. :) Oh hehe, and it's fun to hover above the baddies who were primarily melee and fight them that way. :P
I got the icon just from doing a search on "princess" on the wiki hehe.

Booo spoilers! Booo! I used to do quests with guides, but at some point (around the time I was high enough level to reliably catch quests the day they came out I think) I said 'no screw this from now on I'm questing blind'. Which was AWESOME. A couple times I was a little late and had to flee from friends chat on quest day so I didn't get spoiled, but other times (HI RITUAL OF THE MAHJARRAT) I was there on the dot of update and everyone was just as blind as me.
In a more relevant-to-character-death thing there's this one quest, While Guthix Sleeps, where a WHOLE TON of characters die. And I didn't have the levels to do it. And this was before my no-spoiler policy, so I found out who all got offed. Six of my favorite characters! Six! SIX! Aaaaargh. But then again that was my fault for reading the guides people put out, and even knowing how everything was going to go down I still got a whole lot of awesome story.
In the case of game-relevant characters that died in WGS (some of the WGS-killed characters WEREN'T >:( okay only two who didn't have any ongoing job but those two were the most important to ME because I LIKED them) they got switched out for replacements once you complete the quest. Actually you recruit them for a battle and they're replaced then, and the ones who die just never take their job back.
Oooh, nice. I always like the idea of hovering out of reach, except when whatever I'm fighting or chasing down does it. Hi aviantese, at least you don't move much so I can fill you with bolts. Hi implings, I really hate it when you fly over water.

I don't really feel an affinity for any of the characters I've interacted with so far in RS. :(
There is one in Heroes, Flambeaux, who I LOVED! :D Soooo much that I created a character that was a perfect clone of her with the name Ms. Flambeaux. XD My friends told me I would get banned hehe. CoH has been sued because so many people copy like Marvel characters and such and have policies about copying. But turns out, the gamemaster the ticket was sent to just said, "Well we'd prefer you not clone signature characters because people might be confused and think you are staff." Buuut... they didn't SAY I couldn't. :P I got her to max level insanely fast. XD And when I played her sometimes people would say, "WHY THE F WOULD YOU DO THAT?!" and sometimes I heard people in a chat channel talk about how they just did a task force with a Flambeaux clone haha! Me of course. :)
Basically? EVERYONE hates her. Y_Y She has really high opinions of herself and uhm... is not gifted in intelligence. She started out as a hero because she wanted to get famous and then turned rogue/villain acting out JUST for attention hehe. :)

A fair few of my attachments came from just seeing them every time I went somewhere and the familiarity piling up (hi Duradel!), others from one quest where they played a huge role (hi Cyrisus!), one I glommed on to because I apparently have a thing for grumpy-acting but mostly soft-hearted people (HAZELMERE <3), and one couple who I started shipping like crazy the first time they interacted (Korasi. And. Jessika.). Oh and there are the various funny characters...
I don't see a problem with that as long as you make it clear to anyone who mistakes you for staff that you are, in fact, not staff. :D

Snotgut and Scrambles! :D :D :D I NEVER skip/take the shortcut option to the game when I get in The Pit. I choose to hear them talking. :D Haha, I WILL NEVER get sick of Scrambles saying, "I really like this one. It's my favorite event." hahaha!
But I just noticed not that long ago they changed the prize area. Y_Y Snotgut just repeats stuff (over his head) while Scrambles now does all the talking to you instead of both of them. Why did they do that? :(
CoH: No one did though, but yeah I know it's a BIG no-no to try to impersonate staff in like every mmo and I wouldn't even do it as a joke.
I'm suddenly thinking of the girl who asked me a question while I was at their version of the ge. She asked me if I got hate mail haha.

The Pit... the Pit... oh god I had to Google Snotgut and Scrambles because I had no idea what you were talking about and didn't even know if the topic was still RS. I haven't done much agility at alllll recently, maybe nothing since before that D&D was added. They look neat!
I haven't the foggiest. :( I like talking to NPCs! Recent quests have cut showing one's character say whatever chat option you chose too, it really annoys me because I love the various chatheads and I want to see what reaction my character's been programmed to have!
'Course not, that'd be dumb and you'd get banned. Also it'd be too much work, you'd get deluged with people asking questions you couldn't answer.

Is The Pit newish? It's been around for at least as long as my second coming of Runescape. :) I dunno what level you are in agility, but if you have anything left on your mad necklace you might wanna consider doing a bit. I went to the agility pyramid last night and went from 59 to 61 in the time it takes to drink 9 and a half waterskins hehe. Think that's about an hour or a little more. And I got to go to The Pit twice! :D
Oh and The Pit has a few different games, but no matter which one you randomly get Scrambles ALWAYS says something about liking it a lot and how it's his favorite. haha!
Well I dunno what they would do if you were joking about though I have seen people pretend to be one for "fun."
Nope, never got hate mail. To be honest out of all the online games I've played, the people in Heroes were the most mature and enjoyable to talk to.
P.S. what's D&D stand for besides Dungeons and Dragons? hehe. :)

I dunno, it seems newish to me, though apparently it was put into the game on 11 October 2011 so idk maybe never having been to it affects how I think about it. I've no idea where my Mad May necklace is - I've got to have one, what with having been a paying member for nearly four years straight, I just have nooooo idea where the dang thing is right now. What's the official name for the in-game item?
Also I'm horribly burnt out on Agility ever since I got 60-70 in less than 5 days a couple years ago. It was... grueling. And I'll never be able to listen to The Chosen Commander again without having flashbacks to endless rounds on the throne-room course, I loved that quest but the song named after it plays in the Bandos throne room and 5 days of nothing but that means it's pretty much forever connected in my mind to boring grindy hell. :( (In other words, I'm probably just going to use the necklace on Dungeoneering or something because noooo way can I stomach Agility in large quantities unless needed for a quest.) The Pit does sound like fun, though, it's just proooobably not for me.
IDK either, and I'm not really one to draw attention to myself anyway so I wouldn't play mod. I have a bad habit of being a dispenser of helpful tidbits though, so I might one day be nominated for silver crown in RS or something...

The Pit is great! All it is is some random game like the random events you sometimes get. Short but they are meant for you to fail most of the time. :P Like there's a herd of sheep and you can only punch five of them trying to get a key with no clue at all which one has it haha. I've won a few times. I got a bonus 723 xp on the last one which I lost. 2,100 or so the one before that which I won. :) The very first time you win you get a gorilla mask in addition to the xp.
I need a Scrambles icon. :(

Aaaah, so it's like 'do the boring infinite laps around your course of choice, maybe get some entertainment to break up the monotony'. If I ever need to train Agility I'm sure I'll get kidnapped by Snotgut and Scrambles at some point.
The rs wikia has a couple chathead icons that might be usable as a 100x100 icon if cropped a bit! :D

Agility is so much awesome. Mostly for the energy regen.
Speaking of levels, I got a Dungeoneering one recently! It is now level 60! I got the notification for this comment while I was in the middle of getting kicked around by a Luminescent Icefiend, actually. I hate that boss almost as much as I hate Stomp.

You know something funny? I have never done anything in dungeoneering and from what I know/saw about it like in videos, it's a group thing with a crapload of pvp. :(
But it's level 43 rofl! You can probably guess how I managed that. (nope NOT botting!)

No PvP, just a shitton of PvE. Group is only if you want the best exp; I've only done a 5-person team once with people from my fansite and I've done 2-person teams a few times with my brother, but mostly (like right now) I go solo. Worse exp, but IDGAF because teaming drives me a little crazy.
Exp lamps. Lots and lots of exp lamps. Or Tears of Guthix if you've done that quest. Or penguins if you do those.

Yeah! xp lamps! :D The first two or three I used for other things, but ALL the ones since then the whole time I've been playing go into Dungeoneering if I get the choice. XD

I looove exp lamps. All of mine have been going into defence recently because I want 85 defence so I can wear ganodermic armor so I can do the Fight Caves without having to worry about having reflexes enough to block Jad's attacks. Sloooow going...

I'd definitely recommend using small dungeons even if you do the default complexity 6. I'm pretty sure the extra exp from a medium dungeon is less than doing multiple smalls in the same time as the one medium.
