For anyone running a game with traps, do you have any suggestions? My narrative in describing traps and working the skill challenge feels really forced and awkward. I also got snarled at for making the trap too difficult. it was a DC 25, and the rogue kept rolling below a 5. After some discussion, I dropped the DC to 22, and then he rolled over 14 four times in a row.
I have a couple weeks before the next session, which is good. The people who sent the assassins after the party are now going to find out they're alive. The Avenger trying to serve two masters is going to have a lot of trouble to deal with. See, he told one of his patrons that he'd killed the necromancer . . .
