I logged onto Runescape last night for the first time in 3 days. And you know what I saw? Some update to the Squeal of Fortune that is now temporarily the Squeal of Neptune. :)

You get two spins on the SoF everyday (err free players only get one I think.) It's basically just this prize wheel with random rewards on it. :) Pretty amusing with the goblin that bounces until you click the button that launches him hehe. :P

Anyway the SoN has an underwater theme and even has new sounds! That's not what got me excited though. There's...A FISH MASK! OMG OMG OMG!

I HAVE to get this!!! I have never been so excited about anything on that wheel like I am for the FISH MASK! :)

I'm stupid, eh? Well, you might think so, but I'll prove you wrong!!!

In City of Heroes they released Halloween outfits that had a full fish monster. Meaning if you bought that, you could actually create a Fish Monster character (not a costume, an actual fish monster.) I actually bought it and made one named Tartar Sauce. :D

See? I'm not stupid at all! XD

Mkay, my icon is Ms. Liberty from City of Heroes. :) I referred to her as "Paragon's Sweetheart" because it always amused me when I would go to her to train with a character and she would say for example, "You're doing great, Tartar Sauce! Keep it up!" She was one of my favorite signature characters for other reasons too.

Anyway, here's a picture of the ol' fish monster! TARTAR SAUCE! You better like it too because... let's just say I didn't have a screenshot of him anywhere and I hadn't updated the game since like March. >_>

Daily Random Prizes

I talked about the Squeal of Fortune earlier. Runescape days start at 8pm (my time anyway)

It was sad the fish mask was not of my possible prizes in either of my spins. (it changes for every spin)

I got:

1. medium xp lamp ONLY for firemaking. -_- Oh gee... that's just... great... and useless... and disappointing because medium xp lamps are uncommon prizes. The lamps give you a certain amount of xp in a skill based on your level in it (a lot of them you actually get to choose the skill) and firemaking seems like a pointless skill to me. And it's really easy to get xp in it now since the bonfire change to it a few weeks ago. :(

2. rune 2 handed sword. Heyyyy, how YOU doin' you chunk of cash you? *wink wink* Also was uncommon and sold for a little more than 38,000 gold pieces instantly. :)

lielac seems the only person to currently be playing Runescape and I would like to hear what you got (if you've been on since.)

BUT, I'm sure there must be other games people in this comm play that give daily rewards.
