So I'm going to be getting a Playstation 3 in the next month or so if everything goes the way I expect it to. I'm getting a PS3 over an Xbox 360 for various reasons, the main one being that I want to play the PSone classics that you can get from the Playstation Network (if it ever gets back up lol) and I already have bought three to play on my PSP. However, I don't really like playing the games on the small PSP screen plus the "controller" is obviously not the same.
what I want to know what games you'd suggest to a person getting a Playstation 3? I plan on getting the PS3 versions of Final Fantasy XIII (I am a Final Fantasy fan), possibly Batman: Arkham Asylum. I'm also thinking of getting Katamari Forever, but I'd like to know what others think of it, especially compared to the two Katamari games on the PS2.
I'm not really sure how to characterize the kinds of games I like, but I do like RPGs that are like the Final Fantasy ones, but I'm open to trying most genres. The only genre that I'm against playing are ones based on wars that happened in real life. Oh and I'm not sure how I'd feel about games that would be mostly online gaming where you have to fight with a team against another team with guns and stuff. I can't remember any examples of such games, but I'm not a competive gamer or take advantage of multi-player features very often, so that's not a big selling point for me.
