Hey everyone. I've been a member here for a while, but for some reason I haven't posted an introduction yet, so I thought I would do that now.
Definitely feel free to add me if you would like - I love meeting other gamers, even if our gaming interests are different. I'm open up to pretty much any kind of video game. Also feel free to check out my interests in my profile if you would like to add me on the basis of that. I'm primarily into writing and making/performing music, so it would be cool to meet people who share that as well.
Anyway, onto gaming! :P
I've been gaming since I was very little. Most of my childhood gaming experience was based on what my older brother wanted to buy, which is the reason for me not getting into rpgs, particularly jrpgs, later in life. But we played a lot of Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda, and Megaman, both on the SNES and N64. I was enraptured my Ocarina of Time as a 4th grader, and that's where my Zelda obsession began. To this day, it is my favorite video game series/world.
I got into other games in high school, when I started to play my friend's Playstation games. I got into rpgs the most when I started dating my boyfriend because he has been a huge rpg gamer since he was little. :D
So, here's a list of games I've played and loved:
Zelda (pretty much all of them), Super Mario World, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario RPG, Donkey Kong (particularly the SNES games - by far my favorite platformer) Persona, Persona 3, Final Fantasy 9, Final Fantasy 7, Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, Valkyrie Profile, Kirby, Terranigma, Secret of Mana, Phantasy Star IV, Phantasy Star Portable 2, Suikoden V, Crimson Gem Saga, Silhouette Mirage, Dead or Alive 3, Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, Fallout 3, Uncharted 2, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Breath of Fire III, Megaman, Age of Empires, Super Smash Bros, Mario Party, Wario Land II, Commander Keen (Invasion of the Vorticons and Goodbye Galaxy!)
Listing them is harder than I thought. Anyway, yeah, those are some of my favorites... I've been playing a LOT of Phantasy Star Portable 2 lately, so if anyone plays that, lemme know, we can do runs together. :)
I've also been playing God of War, Eternal Sonata, White Knight Chronicles, and .hack lately, and I've been enjoying them all.
So yeah... mainly I'm into rpgs, action/adventure, platformers, puzzle, strategy, and shooters. I do like some racing games, and have even enjoyed some sports games, although I don't seek those games out as much.
