I joined a couple of days/weeks ago. Figured it's time to do an intro!
I'm both a table-top gamer (when I have friends who are interested, at least) and a computer gamer. Generally the latter.
I'm notoriously bad at finishing games. I think the last game I actually completed was Jade Empire (on easy mode). I'm currently determined to complete Portal 2, and trying my best not to play any other game until it's finished. Although... Sims 3 Generations may change that.
I play on all sorts of platforms: PC (for Sims and most Bioware games), Wii (for Mario/Zelda/Wii Fit games), and Playstation for the more adult games (Portal 2, Heavy Rain, Assassins Creed).
My favourite game of all time is probably Mario Kart 64 - mainly due to memories of my student days. I recently got reacquainted to one of gods of the game from university, and he and I played the wii version online with some colleagues. I was mortified to find that he didn't win after I'd bigged him up! I also love Tetris Attack on the SNES/Original Gameboy, later rebranded as Pokemon Puzzle League. Crossing my fingers that they'll one day allow you to buy it through the Wii.
Nowadays I'll probably buy any Bioware game going (love Dragonage and Mass Effect, and can't wait for Knights of the Republic when it comes out - I gave up World of Warcraft several years ago and am looking forward to an MMORG I can get my teeth into - I'm hopeful that combining Bioware with Star Wars will do the trick).
Does anyone else have a favourite game creator?
Well, I think that just about sums me up. One day I might complete a second game. You never know.

Tim. Fucking. Schafer. Do not front about this, in your heart you know he is the greatest.
I'm also a fan of Hideo Kojima pre-Metal Gear Solid 4. I don't appreciate him trolling his fanbase because he keeps having to make massively successful sequels that make him rich. STFU Hideo.
Company-wise, I grew up on Insomniac Games (Ratchet and Clank and Spyro). I like the trifecta of platforming that is Insomniac-Naughty Dog-Sucker Punch.
And BioWare became my favorite company when DA2's head writer verbally bitchslapped the privileged male gamers about why no, DA2 will not be offering a no-homosexuality options. T'was an epic smackdown. ♥

My already-high respect for BioWare has just increased to amazing levels. THAT IS GLORY. <3

I've downloaded the Ratchet and Clank that's free with the PSN 'welcome back' offer, but I must admit I've not found it that great to play - didn't play for long though. I'm a big fan of Spyro (wow, you grew up on it... that makes me feel so old!)
