Who else has obnoxiously girly dice? I bought these a while back, as well as some sparkly purple ones. I'm not usually one for sparkles and pink, but these I just had to have.
Those are pretty awesome! I would love a set like that. My set is just regular old dark blue with white numbers, but I have this really awesome semi-clear rose pink percent die. I used to have a set of clear white elvish dice, but they were horribly cursed. Always rolled 1's and 2's with them.
Since I don't really know on the "girliness"" level, what with the guys always trying to use my dice because they all roll well, I just made a post on my journal with pictures of the sets.
By the way, that basket with the dice that you can see on the last photo--those are my five-year-old son's dice. I'm not sure why they're in an Easter basket right now, but there you go...
Those are the ones I use most often in d20. ^_^ Of course, sometimes I use the Crystal Dice (the purples ones next to the orange ones) just to mess with the DM whenever I roll the 20-sider and it goes rolling across the table. *grin* It rarely stops, because it's practically a barrel. Though I end up somehow rolling Nat20s on it when it does finally stop.
I haven't been in a run for a couple of years, but yes, my dice are purple and shiny. (Most of them are from Chessex.) (And yes, that is a Klein bottle dice bag that I crocheted :p)
I do have purple dice, but they're not sparkly at all. They're dark purple and I painted the numbers egg yolk yellow, an obnoxious combination but one that is very easy to read from a distance.
I have a set of green d6 but they didn't have any green polyhedral dice :( so I just have some marbled red ones with gold writing. Only set of dice in town when I bought them!
