I used to play the Civilization games a lot. :P There was this Star Trek game I played when I was but a wee tot and I think that's what turned me into a War Sim fan. XD I suck at them as well though but they're still a lot of fun. There was this alternate universe European sort of Victorian age style sim I played once... Can't remember the name though...
And I'm not as big a fan of the newer BioWare games but I'm willing to give them a chance. I mean, hey, they brought us gaming girls Alistair fairly recently and they've made really good RPGs in the past...
