Merry Brandybuck to those who celebrate Hobbitses today! XD
Steam... oh Steam... Y U Take My Moolah?!
I mentioned buying that racing game for $1 that I rather like. You smash into stuff on the streets to get points which is fun. :P
I bought a $1 motorcycle racing game. I would never ride a motorcycle in real life, but I will in virtual life haha! It's called Ducati World Championship and like the car racing game, it doesn't matter how realistic it is to me hehe.
Then they forced me at gunpoint to browse around and I bought Wings of Prey for $5 which is a WWII combat flight game. I used to like these sorts of things, and what convinced me was I got the impression there's settings so it doesn't have to be realistic flying which I suck at hehe. I know cause I've tried. :P I haven't tried this one yet.
Then they made me buy Spear of Destiny which is 21 more levels of Wolfenstein 3D. It was $2.50.
It's these cheap games that get me. They add up without me really paying attention. I feel ok buying several cheap games than actually buying one $25 game hehe. :P
I wanna get Close Combat: Cross of Iron. It's a $26 game that's not on Steam but on the makers' site Matrix Games. Does anyone have an experience with them? It's sorta a remake of the old Close Combat: The Russian Front with more battles, improved AI and such. I've been playing a little bit of the original actually, but wondering if the new version is improved enough that I'd notice it.
