Greetings,

I am Miss Korya, and I am more or less an active Star Trek Online player. Right now if you're reading the Development Blogs you know that Season 7: New Romulus is on its way, filled with a new reputation system, and a conversion to yet more currency. They're introducing Omega Marks, for those who play with the Borgs in the Elite STF or Special Task Force missions for those who do not play Star Trek Online. Then there are the Romulan marks, for said Romulan gear in said "New Romulus."

You're also probably aware of the upcoming 29th Century Temporal Uniforms [yay more money going to the Z-Store! /sarcasm] and of course, the Vesta. If you are not aware, the Vesta-class is a very large vessel in fact, she holds right about 700 - 750 crew, and was the class of vessel in which Captain Ezri Dax commanded.

Now before I go any further about the on-going speculation from the Forums regarding her actual in-game specification. Let me explain a few things. I only have one, yes one. Top level Federation toon, her name is V'Lal, and she's an Engineer. With that said, a lot of the 'gear' that everyone talks about. I personally probably do not have. I didn't have much time or money for gaming before and now with an eight month old, you can probably figure that time and money to even consider throwing around on Star Trek Online is probably gone.

But that doesn't stop me from drooling over new ships, gear, and content.

Going on, the Vesta from Memory-Beta [you know that wiki about Star Trek novels, comics, etc] let me post her specifications here:

She's got some ample nacelles if you pardon my engineering. Now, she's classified as a Multi-Mission Explorer, and while she'd be a beast in the Science classification, odds are she'd end up a Hybrid-Cruiser. Hold on, that's not just the Engineer talking. I can pop myself into any ship and still hold my own. I say Hybrid in that yes I can see her being a beast as a science vessel, and also ungodly in the hands of an engineer as a cruiser.

That's just my opinion, and if you want to hash it out. I'll see you on the STO Federation Shipyard Forums.

Next, we're going forward with Season 7 talk and discussing, dun, dun, dun the new Embassy Outpost. Yes! Because you didn't have enough reasons to grind for Dilithium or spend your hard earned cash on converting Zen to Dil. Yes folks Embassy Outpost, and if you haven't read it, it's in the Season 7 Dev Blogs

Yes, much fun to be had, what with your nose to the grindstone and all. At any rate, the good news is the Romulans are here!

Not everyone jump up at once. We've been bugging them about it and they're here, like Mists of Pandaria on WoW, the Romulans are for Star Trek Online. Thus, that wonderful new reputation system, now if only we could get a fully playable KDF Faction. Hey look, without a unique storyline to get me from level zero to level fifty. I'm not going any further in the KDF, so my little Giselle N'Jeavu the Orion will just have to sit pretty at level twenty-two in her original series uniform.

Speaking of Klingons: WOULD IT BE SO HARD TO GET SOME MORE KLINGON UNIFORMS?!

I mean C'MON! In comparison to the Federation, they've got nothing, in fact that kinda goes for a lot in the game now doesn't it?

Those are my thoughts, on the game and I'm actually excited for new content and from what I hear from my fleet on Tribble Test Server. New Romulus is actually fun, however Romulan ale is still prohibited.

Anyway if you wanna hit me up in-game, I'm @Miss_Koria and you can catch me with my buddies in our fleet, Task Force 575.

Live Long and Prosper!
