Daily challenges are going pretty good so far! Everyone started with five, but you only get one new one a day. The newest one you have 5 days to finish and it goes down from there. If you complete a challenge all the ones you still have get an extra day. I only have one challenge left which I can't do and it's so irritating! I've had it since Wednesday and since I've got no others it still says I have 5 days to do it.
The problem with it is that I do not have any skills high enough to acquire these strange seeds in a minigame area, The Herblore Habitat. I'm supposed to clean 15 of the herbs that are grown with the seeds, but the closest skill I have to get points for seeds is my woodcutting at level 75. I need 83 woodcutting to do something there. It's even waaaaay worse for other skills. It really ticks me off I have this. Technically I can do the challenge because cleaning the dirt off those herbs takes 59 herblore and mine is 60. Oh yeah... NONE of the stuff used to get points is tradeable so I can't buy anything to get them.
If I keep getting my daily challenges done I'll eventually get 83 woodcutting. It's just going to take a loooong time because I need more than double my current xp to get that level.
Besides that one issue, they've been awesome. :D
I finally advanced my cooking a level to 91 tonight. It feels like I've been level 90 for a month and that's probably not too far off. Now I need over 600,000xp to get to level 92. I cook a lot of corn, tuna, potatoes and pizza. Pizzas give the most xp out of those which is... 139 plus 39 for topping them with anchovies. Yep. That's why it's taking so long hehe. I mean potatoes give a whopping 15xp for baking each one. Cooking is also my highest skill... and I'm not even halfway to level 99 if you go by total xp needed.
Oh one last thing. I got my woodcutting and firemaking both to level 75 yesterday. That's the minimum level to cut and burn magic trees and logs. That's been a goal for quite a while. I cut 15 magic logs and then did my daily challenge which gave me a reward of 213 magic logs. Funny Jagex. :P
