Haha. Ok, this might only be funny to me, but some guy came up to the GE market I was at and started the whole "Doubling Money!" crap up, so I asked him if he trimmed armor too. :P People thought that was funny and someone asked him if he cut gems as well. (that's a scam I failed to mention that used to happen looong time ago). He left. :P
And the cutting gems thing:
You get uncut gems occasionally from mining or from monsters and they were worth more to a vendor if they were cut, but it took certain levels of crafting to cut each kind. Sometimes people would stand in a bank offering to cut gems as a scam.
I actually used to stand in a bank and offer trades once in a while when I was bored. Trading cut gems for uncut gems because you get decent crafting xp for cutting them so it was no loss to me and I could cut all the free member ones.
I'm so glad they added the Grand Exchange and I don't have to stand around banks trying to sell crap. I wonder when they added it though. I do miss sitting at the general store in Varrock buying up stuff people vendored. :P Had to be quick sometimes though hehe. Was fun still. :P Can't do that anymore.
