That's kind of what I had thought, in lieu of Xbox-exclusivity. To be honest, my whole family has been really bracing against the BluRay move, so that doesn't matter a whole lot to me. It'll be nice to have a player "just in case" but I don't see myself buying a bunch of BluRay movies for it.
And yikes! Now, I know YLOD/RLOD is not an uncommon occurrence for Xbox, but how often/likely do PS3's have problems? I was reading something about disc drives failing in the "fat" PS3's fairly regularly, but I'm not sure how long ago that was and thus if that should actually concern me.
