Mass Effect
Hey there. I'm on my second play through on Mass Effect. My Sheppard is a female, which I suppose is to be expected. If at all possible, I play my characters as women. I was wondering, do those of you who play ME play as male for another perspective, like some men will play through as a woman. Or do you simply play through as women? If so, why?
Personally, I think I'll always play ME as a female. I mean, most games don't offer the option to change the sex of the main character. Thing is with ME, it feels awesome being the hero as a woman. The one person who changes the fate of the galaxy. I kinda love it.
I love ME, and will probably play through a bunch more times. Thanks to the multitude of starter options, I can't imagine this game would ever get boring.

And yeah, playing as a female hero is great. I specifically love being able to play as a bisexual woman, not something many games let you do! I like being able to play as a POC too, though the appearance options could definitely be more varied.

I started Dragon Age, but didn't get very far into it. ME took over my life. lol I should probably get back into that game again too. Once I finish ME.

An annoying thing about Dragon Age:Origins is that quite a few origins have family members who are always white regardless of what your PC looks like. Dragon Age 2 fixes this, adapting their colouring and appearance based on your character design choices, it's pretty cool. (Plus of course there's mods, but that's not the same)
