Recommendations?
We've just bought a wii u (child's birthday) along with Nintendoland and Lego City. Child is disappointed because the game we bought it for is only on the 3DS (Luigi's Haunted Mansion? I guess it MIGHT be on the wii u later? Or not?) and lolariously enough, the game I wanted (The new Animal Crossing) is not either. Hooray for researching those big purchases, team. /o\
Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has any recs for wii or wii u games I might like? I am very much a beginner and like good stories, beautiful art, funny things and weirdness, puzzles.
Games I have liked/am enjoying:
-Glitch (so cute & funny!) - online
-The Cave (LOVED this one.) - Xbox
-Mini Ninjas (adorable!) -Xbox
-Keflings games (addictive) - Xbox
-Kingdom of Loathing (weird funny) - online
-Quidditch World Cup - ps2
-Harry Potter Lego - Xbox
Classics I loved: any kind of Tetris/Dr Mario, Rogue Squadron.
Platformers tend to stress me out but I'm trying to be less of a baby, so maybe ones meant for kids. I am shit at jumping, okay. //hopeful face//

I love Super Smash Bros. Brawl (great for stress relief and also multiple-person playing, although I will say I learnt all my best swearing from friends who played it, which may not be ideal for your small one.)
And of course there is always the tried and true Mario Kart.
I believe Virtual Console has been grafted properly onto the Wii U, so you'd also be able to pick up classic Nintendo/Super Nintendo/etc. games like Tetris and Dr. Mario to play. :)

Sorry for the late reply!
