Still playing various single player games and ignoring Avengers and Runescape. :P I might actually be done with Avengers because even yesterday when Joshypoo and I were chatting I didn't load it which is the first time since I started back in September.
Thoughts on the 9 games I've played in the last couple days...
Machinarium
I LOVED this at first! I mean... you're a ROBOT in a ROBOT city!!! :D I got like 1/3 of the way before having to look up something in a walkthru. Now it's gotten so difficult for me, I've had to print the thing out. :( I LOVE the graphics though. :) I think I'm about halfway done now. Some of the stuff I just would never figure out on my own even though I'm trying which makes me a little frustrated.
Duke Nukem
I made it to level 6? ALMOST died towards the end of level 4. And you can only save in between levels hehe. ROBOTS in this game too!
Wolfenstein 3D
YEP! Bought this off Steam. :D I have to use the cheat code to up my health sometimes, but I don't even care hehe. I'm on level 7 and it's awesome fun. :D
Ultimate Doom
Got a Doom package off Steam the same time too. The ones I'm doing now are the original episodes. :) And yes, I have godmode on haha. I just enjoy running around shooting things and relaxing without worrying about saving in case I die. :D I used to do multiplayer Doom 2 in high school with a couple friends. Mostly co-op and it was crazy good times hehe. Back when I had a 14.4k modem. XD
Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter/TOTL
I haven't exactly played this yet, but I did create a party. Serious trouble getting it to run on my computer even though I bought it off GoG. Only thing I've bought from that site that has given me trouble. Grr. I don't think I ever beat it, but I've played it through a few chapters several times hehe. Maybe one day I'll actually see the end! :O
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault
I'm on the mission I hate and I totally remember it from ages ago. It's the one where you have to protect a tank squad from snipers. I HATE ALLIES!!! Ugh. I really just wanna go solo like in the other two shooters I have. And what the heck is with me playing fps? I hadn't done that in years until recently. o_o I wish there were cheat codes for this game hehe.
Police Quest: In Pursuit of Death Angel
Worked on this some more. Made some bikers move their motorcycles from a parking lot by smacking them with my nightstick. Yeah... they weren't even parked illegally. Typical cops. Caught a guy who was driving in a stolen vehicle and found drugs hehe.
Minesweeper & Mahjong
I still can't resist playing these. :3 According to Raptr I've played 5 hours of Minesweeper in less than a week. >_> I actually quit playing the default modes and I'm trying to find settings which don't drive me nuts, yet are still challenging. Currently I'm playing the same size grid as Expert Mode only there's 83 mines instead of 99.
I'm quite happy playing solo games right now. I kinda wish I didn't pay for six months of Runescape subscription back in the beginning of October. It came out to paying 5 months of the normal month by month price so I was like, "YAY! Buy 5 months get one free!" hehe. :)
