Hey there! I'm eleanore, the epitome of a geeky girl gamer. ;)

I adore BioWare and I'm also a big fan of the old Fallout games by Interplay (as well as Fallout New Vegas). I tend towards RPS or Management/Life/War Sims but I've been known to join up in an MMO or an online shooter.

My game of the moment is Dragon Age. Oh goodness. I could go on and on about that game. ;) I'm into it more for the characters, which is typical of me, but I also like the lore/story that BioWare crafted for it. I've only played Origins for the moment but I plan on finishing out the series with Awakening, II, and the eventual (hopefully!) third game.

On that note, I leave you with a little in joke for my fellow DA nerds. :)

AUUUUUUGH.

>_<

You know, if you have 'Bioware' and 'MMO' in the same post, that does prompt the obvious question... Star Wars? I should make a post about that in general.

Enchantment? Hi there, Eleanore. ;D

I'm not sure if we have the same tastes or not, because although I also love the Fallout series I really don't like most of Bioware's recent games. I quite enjoyed Origins though! I can't say no to a game where you can march into battle with fellow badasses (especially when one of those badasses is a dog).

What RPS/war sim games do you play? They're my favourite types of games, even if I'm amazingly terrible at them. The mechanics just seem to go right over my head unfortunately.

*g* I was reading a thread on Amazon about Skyrim, and that's often quoted there. :)

I beat Origins 7 times, to give you an idea of how much I loved it. Awakening (along with various other DLC) about 2-3 times. Dragon Age II, I'm on my second playthrough--Skyrim came out. The only advice I can offer is to take DAII on its own merits; some of the changes are great, some are not, but it's a fun game... if you accept it for what it is. (IMO; YMMV.)

Erm, parts of it were. I don't regret buying it, 'cause I wanted to prolong my experience however possible. But there were a couple of expansions that just frustrated me--to the point where DAII was a marked improvement. (May have affected how I view that game overall? Worth considering.)

LOL! Yes, I can see that. There's a rumour that DAIII will be more open-world, like Skyrim. (Which is the first Elder Scrolls game that I have loved THIS much.) What are you playing? I'm running a khajiit specialising in One-Handed swords, Light Armour, Sneak, Archery, Speech, and Smithing. Probably sounds odd, but works a treat! :)
